CAJU IS DADDY AGAIN 03.04.10 / 1 girl black !!!!!!
Hello,
my name is Manuela Lappe. I am 38 years old an I live in Germany with my son Fynn who is 9 years old.
We live in a small village called Bad Salzuflen between Hannover an Bielefeld.
I was falling in love with the Thai Ridgeback Dog, after the death of our Rottweiler. And so I decided our next dog would be a Thai Ridgeback Dog.
The new family member should be black again, with a short coat, but only the half the size and weight of the Rottweiler breed.
There is a limited amount of the TRD in Europe to choose from. So, I contacted Nadine Caprano, a young lady in Germany who helped me to find our first black TRD male, I call Caju from a breeder in the Czech Republic.
We were very lucky with our Caju, and very quickly I look fora a second TRD so that I could begin to show and breed the TRD.
It has always been my dream as a child to have and own a litter of puppies. I was for many years a "nanny" for the dogs of a German Shepherd breeder in Germany. During my time spent with this GSD breeder, I learned many things:
How to play and train with the dogs, how to walk and exercise the dogs. I learned about dog showing and field work for dogs. I also learned everything about whelping by helping at the birth of new puppies and studied the growth of puppies. As a young girl, this was my life after the school. I would help out every day in the afternoon and also every weekend I would be with the dogs learning.
My childhood dream was to one day own a kennel of my own and breed dogs one day in the future.
And so my search for a blue female began. After a short time I realized again, that it would not be easy to find a blue female in Europe not related to Caju.
So, finding a blue female was a big problem. Fortunately for me, I found a lovely super female breeder called Noi who lived in Thailand. We have formed a very good friendship. I was very happy and grateful to her for finding the lovely blue female Nena. Nena arrived from Thailand here in Germany on March 2006.
Nena is a beautiful female TRD, but Nena was not suitable for breeding. She was going to a new home in April 2007. The new owner is very happy with Nena.
I began to search again for a new female to replace Nena. I decided to import another female from Bangkok. So, in March 2007 I flew again to Bangkok to choose a new female. This time I found a beautifu fawn female who we have named Cira (Cha-Am). Cira was arriving here in germany in august 2007 and I hope she will do very well in the show rings.
